Day 2 - London UK to North Conway NH

An early 5:15am start after a pretty poor night sleep. On the plus side the Executive Lounge breakfast was great - plenty of coffee, fruit, sausages, bacon and other bits. This was open from 6am and within no time we were in the car for the short hop to Terminal 3.

We went with Purple Parking this time, so handed cars keys over to some random guy in a high-vis! Let’s hope the car is there when we get back!

By the time we transited the airport and through security we didn’t have too long until our flight boarded. There was quite a bit of turbulence on the flight - made it a little exciting. Must have been a weather system we flew over.

Thea had a decent sleep on the plane, and everyone else just binge-watched movies.

Boston airport was a breeze - quiet, and quick to get through security and collect our bags. We picked up our car after a bit of faffing with the model we ended up with an extra long wheel base Wagoneer. A total beast of a car and swallowed all our luggage.

After getting out of the city we pulled into a Walmart to get some food and bits and then as night fell we song Christmas songs in car as we drove past houses with lights and through nice looking towns.

The place where we are staying was just off the highway and luckily the drive was shoveled otherwise we’d have had a hard time parking! The holiday house is lovely and by now we were exhausted and pretty soon all asleep, at about 7pm local time 😬.
