Travel Log

A leisurely start for our flight from Bristol to Geneva, and the start of our summer holiday in the Swiss alps. The travel was mostly painless and once we were set up with our hire car we were off to the races. A few wrong turns getting out of Geneva but then we soon got the hang of the new car and driving on the right side of the road. Before we knew it we were in Sallanches, a previous haunt when we were in the French alps two years ago. It was a McDonald’s dinner for convenience and given the late hour. Eventually we arrived in Chamonix and our apartment for the night, complete with a net suspended floor and a mini sauna.
