Day 14 - Page to Hatch

Sadly due to the risk of flash floods our antelope canyon tour was cancelled. Another thing we will need to come back for. We had a lesuirely morning in Page making the last Walmart stop of our holiday then drove over to Hatch to our next holiday house stopping to buy groceries and have an ice cream on the way. Alex drove for the first time in the US on quiet desert roads, despite getting everyone to our destination safely the kids were pleading for Nick to take the wheel again!! Thanks for the vote of confidence!
Because the time changed again and we lost an hour we arrived at check in time meaning a relaxing evening with another delicious steak dinner and a family movie. Hatch is a tiny village with no real services but the holiday house is in a beautiful valley surrounded by red cliffs and we can see the Rockies again in the far distance. Nick managed to go for a run and we had a chance to catch up with laundry. In the evening we watched a family movie with popcorn.
